Frequently asked questions.

FAQs

General

  • We proudly serve couples in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and select locations in Greece for destination weddings and elopements.

  • The earlier, the better! Many of our couples secure our services right after getting engaged, especially if they want full planning support or a destination wedding. The sooner we join your journey, the more support we can provide.

  • We recommend booking 8–12 months in advance for full-service weddings and 2–6 months in advance for smaller packages like partial planning or elopements. Dates fill quickly during peak seasons, so early inquiries are encouraged!

  • Everything you need for a seamless wedding is included in the Full Planning and Design Package, no hidden fees. Optional upgrades are available:

    • Ceremony-only footage

    • Social media teaser edits

    • Engagement or rehearsal-session shoots

    • Luxury albums or heirloom prints

  • Yes! We specialize in Greece destination weddings. We handle logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site management so you can focus on what matters, enjoying your day.

  • We make planning abroad simple. Start by completing our Greece Wedding Assessment so we can learn your vision and tailor our services to your needs.

    📝 Greece Wedding Assessment:

    1. What location in Greece are you considering (city, island, or region)?

    2. Do you have a preferred wedding date or timeframe?

    3. Are you planning a destination elopement or a traditional wedding with guests?

    4. What is your approximate total wedding budget (USD or EUR)?

    5. Are you looking for planning services only, or also photo/video coverage?

  • Our clients find us through referrals, social media, and creative partnerships — especially couples looking for cinematic visuals, stress-free planning, and destination expertise.

  • It’s entirely up to you! A first look is great for couples who want to take most of their photos before the ceremony and enjoy cocktail hour — but saving the reveal for the aisle can make for a powerful emotional moment. We always recommend discussing your preferences together so your choice feels intentional and true to you both.

  • Start by mapping out your seating chart early. If a guest wouldn’t know anyone else at their table, a plus-one might make sense. Be mindful of your budget, and don’t be afraid to set clear boundaries — your wedding day should feel personal and manageable.

  • Typically, send invites 8–10 weeks before the wedding, or 10–12 weeks for destination weddings or busy seasons. Always account for postal delays, international mail, and custom stationery timelines to ensure your guests have ample notice.

  • After securing your planner and venue, prioritize your photo/video, catering, music, and floral team. Ideally, you’ll want your vendor team locked in at least 5–6 months before your wedding — the earlier the better in high-demand seasons.

  • A lot! We’re always prepared. Essentials include:

    • Scissors & sewing kit

    • Feminine products

    • Bobby pins, hair ties, & makeup wipes

    • Travel-sized makeup & deodorant

    • Super glue, tissues, mints, and floss

    • First aid kit (ibuprofen, band-aids)

    • Steamer, snacks, contact solution & more

🔗 Bonus: Visit marrymemarket.com for curated wedding essentials and emergency kits you can buy for your own big day.

  • We accept all major credit cards, ACH bank transfers, mobile payments (Zelle, Venmo) and payment plans for qualifying packages. We’re happy to discuss flexible options during your consultation.

  • We know plans can change. Our standard policy:

    • 60+ days prior: Full refund minus deposit

    • 30–60 days prior: 50% credit toward future booking

    • Under 30 days: Credit minus any work completed or vendor costs

Destination weddings may have additional terms due to travel arrangements.

  • Absolutely. We believe in tailoring our services:

    • Planning without media, or media without planning

    • Add-on options (engagement shoots, rehearsal dinner coverage, social teasers, full-ceremony edits)

    • Destination and themed wedding upgrades

Our goal is to deliver a package that matches your unique vision.

  • We blend expert planning, authentic storytelling, and cinematic artistry—all under one roof. Our clients trust us to create not just a seamless wedding day, but a memory they can relive for years through stunning photo and video keepsakes. We’re known for:

    • A calm, supportive process

    • Creative, design-forward planning

    • Professional-grade media delivered with heart

  • Not necessarily! We can often share insurance, walkthrough availability, or confirmation details earlier than the official start of your package. If a venue requires significantly more support, we can customize your Month-Of package or recommend Partial Planning based on your needs.
